Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 15, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 18, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

It is officially winter in New England.

The temperature this morning?

13° F!!!!

It is bitterly cold today in Massachusetts. The frost on the roof of the Elementary school looked like an inch of snow. Children arriving at school, all wore warm hats, gloves and even a few scarfs. As the kids laughed and talked and hurried to get inside, the familiar white smoke blew from their mouths.

Yes, winter has descended upon us rather quickly in this neck of the woods.

Even our Beagle dog, Muffy needed an extra blanket in her crate.

Forecast for this evening:  light flurries and more bitter cold.

I feel your pain since I am down on the cape. We missed out on the latest snow, but got the wind and cold now. By the way, I really like your blog. Tim
