Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 15, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 18, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

An Ode to the Boston Bruins

I live in New England. Like a true Bostonian, I am, of course, a sports fan.

For folks who live here, sports is a way of life. Whether we are ourselves, athletes, scholars or musicians, it really doesn't matter, because we all have a warm place in our hearts for our beloved Red Sox, our Celtics, our Patriots and of course, our Boston Bruins.

We all live eat and breathe for "tickets to the game"....any game, whether it's at Fenway park, Gillette stadium or our beloved "Garden", we New Englander's support our teams. Win or lose we love them just the same.

So, I guess it is not surprising that I am routing for the Boston Bruins to win the Stanley Cup.

I guess you could say I am an "old timer" since I remember the days of:

Phil Esposito and Johnny Bucyk (for all you young folk out there)! These were the days before helmets and face masks!

and of course the infamous.........

Bobby Orr

Who could forget this?

So, please forgive me as I take some time out from blogging about my family and say..........
