Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 15, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 18, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

What a Difference a Day Makes

The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and Irene has now left us for good.

We were fortunate and spared from what many around us suffered through. We received torrential rains, gusty winds with a few trees and branches down around our home. Thankfully, we were fortunate and did not lose our power.

Many of the residents along the south shore received the heavy winds and coastal flooding. Most there are still without power. Western Mass and Vermont received more of the heavy rains and many homes and businesses suffered losses.

Today, however, is beautiful......and the clean up begins.
It is so good to see the sun once again.
