Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs
This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 15, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 18, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

We woke up yesterday to temperatures in the 30's. We donned on sweatshirts and long pants. We put on our house heat and celebrated the arrival of fall in New England.
But today it seems that Mother Nature has changed her mind and is holding on to summer for just a little bit longer. Temperatures today are expected to be in the 80's, with a record temp of 84 to be reached by this afternoon.
This extreme fluctuation of temperature is fairly common during the changing of seasons, but it sure makes it difficult to determine what to wear each day. Tuning in to local weather reports is a must for residents here since wearing a sweatshirt when it is 84 degrees is not such a good idea.
