Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 14, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 17, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

Red, White and Blue Weston

Weston decided to celebrate the 4th of July with his own personal style.

He accompanied me to Building 19 and purchased this small American flag for one dollar.

He decided to decorate his mini BMX bike with his new purchase.

In true "male" fashion, he affixed this patriotic symbol to his favorite set of wheels with.....you guessed it.......

DUCT TAPE!

He proudly rode around the neighborhood smiling, the red, white and blue flag flapping behind him.

You Go Weston!

Happy 4th of July to all our readers!
