Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 14, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 17, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

A Reprieve and an Adventure

After the stressful events of Nick's swollen gland episode, I am taking a bit of a reprieve.

I am suffering from a bad bout of Special Needs Battle Fatigue.

I am finding it difficult to write or concentrate.

But don't worry......all that is about to change as I have scheduled our annual Thanksgiving Mini Vacation Adventure that has now become a Peters' Family tradition.

The first year we stayed here, at the Mount Washington Hotel. It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season.

With gorgeous views of the Mount Washington Valley.

Last year, we stayed at the Wentworth Hotel in New Hampshire.

Where we received about a foot of sparkling new snow.

This year is a surprise.
I am not telling you where we are headed.
Rest assured, I will have plenty of photos and an interesting story or two to tell you about when we return.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers!

To all of our readers outside of the United States.....Happy Thursday!
Thank you all for listening.
