Our Journey Raising Two Children with Special Needs

This blog chronicles our life raising two children, Nicholas 15, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Weston 18, diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's/ADHD. It's the ups, the downs, the joys, the sorrows and most importantly, the beauty of living a life less perfect, a life more meaningful.

Ninety Degrees

So, what do we do here in New England when it's in the 90's all week?

We sit around pool-side, of course.....

Who cares if our pool is of the "Kmart special" persuasion......it seems to do the trick in putting some smiles on the faces of my children.

I bought this pool several years ago.
Although we have surely gotten our money's worth from old blue,
I believe it may be time for a slightly bigger version of our faithful fun-maker.

Muffy's idea of staying cool.

Nicholas had so much fun...he splashed around in the cold water.....solo.
That's a first!
It certainly seems to be shaping up to be a long, hot summer.
Stay cool......
p.s still working to try to get my comments turned back on.....hang in there dear readers.
